Emory Remington Trombone Choir Competition

For ensembles of 8 to 16 trombonists

First Prize - Featured performance at the 2008 International Trombone Festival in Salt Lake City, UT.

The 2008 ITA Competitions General Rules and Requirements must be strictly followed to avoid disqualification.

No guest soloists are allowed. All improvised solos must be performed by regular members of the ensemble.
No age requirement or school affiliation required.
Winning ensemble must utilize only the players who made the CD recording in their ITF appearance—no additional players or substitutions without the approval of the Competitions Committee.
Winning conductor has total control over the content of their ITF performance.
Members of the 2004, 2005, 2006, or 2007 Remington Competition winners are not eligible in the 2008 Emory Remington Trombone Choir Competition.
