Round Top Festival Institute

The Round Top Festival Institute offers six weeks (no absence is permitted) of intensive training for young talented musicians (born before December 31, 2001) seeking a transition from conservatories and universities to a future professional career. The Southeast Trombone Symposium is held for one week every Summer in the world class facilities of the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. The Tomball Trombone Institute is a program for all local students and educators. Our 2019 season will include a brand new High School Division! All student participants perform in both a large trombone choir and small chamber groups. Additional activities include masterclasses, recitals, instrument exhibits, and a final concert on Friday.
