International Women’s Brass Conference

The 2017 International Women's Brass Conference is taking place from June 7-10 at Rowan University. Competition registration is open until April 1 and the grand prize for all three competitions is $5,000. Top instrument makers will be exhibiting and top female brass players will be performing. This conference is open to all genders and ages with an over 25 year category.

International Trombone Week 2017

International Trombone Week is an annual worldwide celebration of the trombone! Since its beginning in 2003, thousands of trombonists have created and participated in home-grown events all over the world. The International Trombone Week is marking its 15-year anniversary by launching a new global initiative called Trombone Bank. Trombone Bank will welcome monetary donations in support of charities doing inspiring work through music. University of Texas at Austin Trombone Choir Concert

UMKC Trombone Ensemble in Concert

The UMKC Trombone Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. JoDee Davis, will present a concert on the UMKC campus. Works include O Sacred Head, Bach/Hanson; Great Lakes Octet, Ewazen; How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place, Brahms/E. Williams; and Red Peppers Two Step, Giles/Chasanov.
