Don Babcock
Don Babcock is assistant professor of trombone and euphonium at Eastern Michigan University. As the principal trombonist in the Ann Arbor Symphony and a freelance artist, he also performs and clinics regularly throughout the Detroit metropolitan area in both classical and jazz venues. In addition to his lesson duties at EMU, he leads the EMU jazz ensemble and jazz combos. He has previously taught at Lansing Community College in Michigan and North Central Bible College in Minnesota. He holds two bachelor degrees from Lawrence University, a masters degree from the University of Minnesota, and a DMA degree from Michigan State University.
