International Trombone Week 2008
April 6-13, 2008
For the past five years, International Trombone Week has been an
exciting way to promote the trombone all over the world. ITW events
have occurred in over a dozen countries and have included recitals and
concertos as well as performances by trombone ensembles, brass
quintets, community bands, high school bands, big bands... and even a
wedding!
ITA invites you to join the fun and participate this year. You
could organize a local trombone-related event and submit information
about it for inclusion in the official ITW 2008 Event List. You could
compose or arrange a work for trombone(s) and submit it for possible
inclusion on this page. You could record your event, post it to
YouTube.com and submit it for possible inclusion on this page. Please note that "International Trombone Week
2008" instrument case stickers are available for ITW participants.
