Durham (UK) British Trombone Society Day

Our event will take place in the Mark Hillary Arts Centre, Collingwood College, South Road, Durham DH1 3LT on the 30th April 2023. It will run from 12.00 to 17.00 GMT with registration from 11.30 and the event will include recitals and presentations by leading trombone players, as well as lots of playing together, in as large a trombone choir as we can gather.
Our principal guests for the day will be: Jon Stokes, BTS Vice-President and one of the UK’s country’s leading freelance players; the trombone section of the Brighouse & Rastrick Band, that is, Ellena Newton, Charlotte Horsfield and Steve Lomas, and Cillian Ó Ceallacáin, the Principal Trombone at Scottish Opera.
