Introduction

Granada Trombone Days (GTD) is a biannual training project devised by teachers of the specialty of Trombone, from the public conservatories of the province of Granada. Its main objective is to promote research and study about the technique and musical interpretation through this instrument. In its fifth edition, all aspects related to sound quality, breath control/tuning, rhythm and phrasing, as well as those of the different articulations and dynamics, will be addressed mainly. For this, six rehearsals, a concert and two group lectures-classes, and eleven individual sessions will be held by one of the most internationally recognized specialists: Stefan Schulz, member of the Berliner Philharmoniker and professor at the Universität der Künste Berlin.
