Rota Trombone Concerto with the Sutton Philharmonic

The Sutton Philharmonic will be presenting its Autumn Concert, featuring really colourful musical works by Ravel, Rota, and Brahms. We are particularly excited to present the Nino Rota Trombone Concerto, with soloist Jamie Reid, who is a final year student at Guildhall School of Music, studying with 2x ITA winner Mark Templeton, as well as Simon Wills and Eric Crees.
Coincidentally, the conductor Brian Choi was also a trombone player, and studied at the Guildhall School of Music with Prof Eric Crees, and Peter Moore! We would be thrilled if this could attract a big trombonist crowd in London, as trombone concertos aren’t performed enough, especially not the Nino Rota!
