Donald Pinson Faculty Trombone Recital

In honor of International Trombone Week, Music Department faculty Dr. Donald Pinson and Dr. David Sutanto will perform a concert titled “Deep in the Heart: Music for Trombone and Piano by Texas Composers” on Friday, April 12. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in Wolfe Recital Hall on the Heritage Campus with a program that features works by living Texas composers, including Brett Kroening, Kevin Day, Thomas Hulten, Michael Schneider and David Wilborn. The program concludes with members of the Corpus Christi Trombone Society performing Curt Wilson’s new arrangement of “Deep in the Heart of Texas” for trombone octet.
