As the publisher’s website states, these 28 trombone duets are composed for young students based upon familiar tunes, some including song lyrics.  Written entirely in German, there are few dynamics or stylistic markings.  Ranges are playable by second-year students, but some rhythms might be too difficult and two of the duets are in compound meter. Keys are mostly friendly, although the ones in D and C require awkward slide motions to play B. Perhaps when these are sung, the duets provide more interest, however as trombone duets these seem to be lacking merit.  
Designed to make students have as much “fun” as in the audition, these appear to be geared for a very specific classroom situation.
