Piano score and solo part

Primary Genre: Solo Bass/Contrabass Trombone - with piano

Trombone teachers will be pleased to learn that this familiar piece works quite well on bass trombone. This adaptation is transposed down a fifth from the original, placing the opening section in E-flat major and the lyrical section in A major, making the range DD-flat to g-flat1. Missing in this adaptation are the helpful piano cues before entrances in the trombone part. Otherwise, it stays true to the original in articulation markings, rhythm, and other details. This arrangement is a nice addition to the intermediate level bass trombone repertoire, and will likely be a regular feature of future undergraduate bass trombone recitals.
