Arranged by Robin Benton

Coventry, , United Kingdom
Publisher: Warwick Music Publishers
Date of Publication: 2008

Primary Genre: Trombone Ensembles - 4 trombones

This straightforward arrangement in the key of B-flat comprises just the Andante tranquillo sections played by horns in the Nocturne. It sounds beautiful on trombones when played well. Parts are given in bass clef. Ranges: 1st e–b-flat1, 2nd c–g1, 3rd A–c1, bass C–f. All notes in bass part are playable on tenor trombone with F-attachment, alternative octave transpositions are indicated for the low register notes. For British brass band players, parts are also printed in B-flat treble clef. Production is to Warwick’s usual exemplary standard. Robin Benton is a trombonist and retired music teacher who lives in Bath, England. He has composed and arranged extensively for trombone and for handbell choir.
