MM Assistantship at University of New Mexico

Due to our Graduate Assistant Bryan Gannon winning a job with the Air Force Academy Band, the University of New Mexico announces a graduate assistantship in trombone for a Master of Music student beginning in Spring 2017.

The assistantship includes a tuition waiver, a stipend of $6296, and health insurance. Duties include performance in the UNM Wind Symphony, the UNM Symphony Orchestra and Jazz I, teaching in the trombone studio, and administrative tasks.
The University of New Mexico is situated at the base of the Sandia Mountains, where there are unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreation. The climate is sunny and mild. Numerous performance opportunities are available between Albuquerque and nearby Santa Fe.
