Studying the Sackbut: a new place, a new way

2019 sees the birth of a new International, independent baroque trombone class established in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain.  Hosted by DIEM (Donostia International Early Music), and directed by world famous baroque trombone (sackbut) player, Adam Woolf, the DIEM Academy is a place for professional and aspiring professional trombonists to meet, study. develop and share ideas.  Designed to cater for players who may have missed the opportunity to study early music while at college, or who would like further coaching/guidance but cannot combine their professional activities with commitments to an institution, the DIEM Academy takes place on one weekend per month.  Participants receive two individual lessons each weekend followed by coached ensemble playing.  For more information, please visit www.diemss.com or www.adamwoolf.com.
