Bio

Brad Edwards teaches at Arizona State University and is the author of a number of pedagogical books, including Lip Slurs, Lip Slur Melodies, Trombone Craft, Bass Trombone Craft, Patterns and Snippets and the Simply Singing for Winds series. He also manages the AuditionSolos.com website, which offers over 150 free one-minute audition solos for all woodwinds and brass. He still performs with the South Carolina Philhamonic and has also performed with the symphonies of Phoenix, Charlotte, Charleston, Baltimore and the National Symphony. He has previously taught at the University of South Carolina and the University of Northern Iowa. His major teachers include James Olin, Tony Chipurn and Ronald Borror. He has also studied with Arnold Jacobs, Joseph Alessi and Dave Fedderly.
