Bass Trombone Assistantship at UNM


The University of New Mexico announces a graduate assistantship in bass trombone for a Master of Music student beginning in Fall 2017.

The assistantship includes a tuition waiver, a stipend of $6296, and health insurance. Duties include performance in the UNM Wind Symphony, the UNM Symphony Orchestra and Jazz I, teaching in the trombone studio, and administrative tasks.

The University of New Mexico is situated at the base of the Sandia Mountains, where there are unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreation. The climate is sunny and mild. Numerous performance opportunities are available between Albuquerque and nearby Santa Fe.
