TŌN (The Orchestra Now) is a unique pre-professional orchestra training program located at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY which combines performance with an intense, humanities-based curriculum that inspires musicians to become creative ambassadors of classical music. The orchestra performs regularly at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Fisher Center at Bard, in addition to other performances and recording projects. TŌN offers two program tracks: a three-year Master’s Degree and a two-year Advanced Certificate program. All students receive a full-tuition scholarship (not including fees) and bi-weekly stipend.
Applicants will need to submit a recording with their application that contains all of the repertoire from our preliminary and final audition repertoire list as one continuous take.
